Catherine is an Artist, Wife, yogi, Step-Mother of 2, and a Massage Therapist.
Catherine has practiced yoga for 4 years, and found it life-altering from the start. “Practicing yoga brings me into balance both physically and emotionally. It gets me into my body, and out of my head. It has taught me to let go of what I don’t need, and gain strength from what I have.”
She has recently moved to Memphis from Oxford, MS, where she owned her own Massage Therapy Practice for 5 years. She specializes in Pain- Management Massage Therapy, allowing for manual corrections of what cannot be corrected by yourself. Belief in allowing the body to change at its own pace, with guidance, compassion and acceptance directs her theory of Massage Therapy.
Catherine is licensed in both Tennessee and Mississippi. She sees Massage Therapy clients on Mondays in Studio B. Please contact her directly for appointment availability.

Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular Therapy:
This form of massage therapy mainly serves as pain management. If you experience pain, significant or constant discomfort, this form of treatment is best for you. This theory focuses on re-setting the nerves that supply a weak, imbalanced, or overly-tight muscle, or muscular region. It is a slow, and sedative theory which helps to eventually change your problem habits, not just treat while you’re on the table. While this therapy works the deeper layers of soft-tissue, it is not painful or something from which you have to recover. We recommend this treatment serve the areas that bother you, and some surrounding tissue. Please note – this theory cannot be used to treat the entire body in one treatment.
$60 for ½ hour, $95 for 1 hour, $150 for 1 ½ hours.
Swedish Massage Therapy:
This theory is your most standard and widely practiced form of massage. It is a light and repetitive touch that detoxifies the body, invigerates digestive processes, calms the breath, decreases swelling, improves circulation and eventually can lower blood pressure. This is the most popular form of massage therapy for improving circulation and promoting relaxation.
Half-Body ½ hour: $40. Full-Body 1 hour: $70.
Weighted-Swedish Massage Therapy:
Precisely the therapy described above, simply applied w/ a firmer pressure for those who are ticklish or prefer a ‘heavier-hand’. Since there is a labour difference, there is a price difference.
Half-Body ½ hour: $50. Full-Body 1 hour: $85.
